Shiva the Cat - street art in Old Tbilisi

Shiva the Cat is one of the most famous murals in Tbilisi, located in the Old Town area, at 26 Betlemi Street. The bright image of a black cat with yellow eyes decorates the facade of the Namaste hostel building and has become a real magnet for tourists and photographers.
The author of the street work is the Swedish artist Gustav (Logik), who created this piece in 2023. His style is rich colors, expressive shapes and subtle interaction with urban architecture. Mural reflects the creative spirit of Tbilisi and fits perfectly into the atmosphere of the Vera district and Betlemi Street.
If you want to see unusual sights in Tbilisi, be sure to add this location to your route. It is especially beautiful here in the morning or at sunset - the lighting emphasizes the details of the graffiti and makes the photos truly alive.
How to get there: from Freedom Square, walk along Betlemi Street or take the cable car to the Narikala Fortress, and then go down the picturesque streets.

The path here is wonderful for exploring the old town, and there are charming cats along the way. This route led me to some stairs, which turned out to be a tourist spot I hadn't known about. There’s a pleasant café there where you can enjoy the view.
