Mural "Kakutsa Cholokashvili", by Goga Katsarava (NIKO Street Art)

This mural on the end of a residential building, created by Georgian artist Goga Katsarava, is dedicated to the theme of the struggle between good and evil. In his work, the author protests against the war in Ukraine. The abstract style inherent in Goga Katsarava allows him to convey general iconographic images symbolizing the victory of good over evil. Members of the artist's team called this work "The Defeat of the Beast - Kakuts Cholokashvili", linking the theme with the famous historical figure of Georgia.

Bright colors and dynamic shapes attract attention, contrasting with the architecture of the surrounding houses . The central figure of the mural holds a "Stop" sign, which symbolizes stopping violence and war. The wings on the character’s back emphasize the image of the protector, and nearby abstract figures enhance the drama of the work.
