Mural "Wind is blowing", by Mishiko Sulakauri (NIKO Street Art)
- Description
This colorful and vibrant mural on the facade of a residential building in Tbilisi is a true work of art created by artist Mishiko Sulakauri for the third annual NIKO festival. In the image you can see a variety of symbols reflecting the nature, culture and traditions of Georgia. The upper part is decorated with a bunch of grapes, a symbol of the country's wine-making traditions, and below are abstract elements such as a tree with colorful fruits, a moon with phases and stylized plant roots. All this is intertwined with geometric patterns and contrasting colors, creating a lively and dynamic composition.
The Georgian inscription “ქარი ქრის” (translated from Georgian as “The wind blows”) adds metaphorical and as if it emphasizes the movement of life, nature and time, which inexorably sweep over the city. The mural enlivens the space around it, harmoniously integrating into the urban landscape.
