Mural "Aphe" by Noah Kauertz, Aphe (NIKO Street Art)
- Description
A bright and atmospheric mural was created on the wall of a multi-storey residential building in Tbilisi, on Zaza Panaskertela-Tsitsishvili Street. The work, completed as part of the Tbilisi Mural Fest project in 2020, belongs to the artist under the pseudonym Noah Kauertz, also known as Aphe.
The mural shows the image of a man in traditional Georgian clothing, who stands as if lost in thought. His figure is made in soft pink and reddish shades, harmoniously combined with the general background of the wall. Behind it you can see a window with a bright arched canopy, as if opening onto another world. The window is decorated with details of the Georgian landscape: vineyards, hills, reminiscent of the country's famous wine traditions. Below is a floral still life, symbolizing the life and beauty of nature.
The image of a man seems to be inscribed in the architecture of the house, emphasizing its connection with the surrounding space and the culture of the city. The Tbilisi urban landscape combined with the art of street painting creates an unusual synergy, attracting the attention of both residents and tourists.
