Georgian Motor Sports Federation

The Georgian Automobile Sports Federation (GASF) in Tbilisi, founded on September 30, 2009, is the central organization in the country dealing with the development of motorsports. Since November 5, 2010, the institution has been a member of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), having received the status of a legislative organization in the field of motorsport. The main goal of GASF is the development and popularization of motorization, ensuring road safety, as well as regulating motor sports in Georgia. The Federation actively organizes republican and international championships, tournaments and competitions in motor sports. It is the only institution authorized to issue international and national racing licenses, as well as licenses for domestic automobile competitions. Thanks to these licenses, the holding of events by the judiciary and technical services is ensured. The Federation also promotes the education and involvement of younger generations in motorsport, offering them opportunities to participate on the international stage.
