Meat processing plant (slaughterhouse) "Chirina"
- Description
The Chirina meat processing plant in Tbilisi is part of one of the largest agricultural complexes in Georgia and the South Caucasus region. Founded in 2010, the company has become an important component of the national market, providing consistently high quality food products. Chirina specializes in the production of chicken meat and related products such as hatching eggs and chicken sausages, complementing its range with apples and pears. An important feature of the company is its own veterinary laboratory "Sana", accredited according to the international standard ISO 17025, which ensures strict quality control at all stages of production.
The vertically integrated Chirina complex includes a full production cycle: from breeding and broiler farms to grain drying and meat processing plants. This allows the company to use exclusively its own raw materials grown on land in Georgia, as well as integrate the products of local farmers, supporting the development of agriculture in the country. Chirina also became the first company to open a network of Biu-Biu fresh meat sales points in Tbilisi, which significantly increases the availability of high-quality chicken products for city residents.
Chirina adheres to high food safety standards, certified according to ISO 22000 with HACCP principles. This is confirmed by inspections of the international German company TUV SUD. In addition, the company actively implements modern technologies and cooperates with leading global companies such as Agrotop, Rosal, Chief Industries and others. Thanks to this, Chirina not only maintains a high level of production, but also contributes to the introduction of the latest agricultural trends in the Georgian market.
