Digital Laboratory of the Georgian Language: Preservation of Literary Heritage

The Georgian Language Digital Lab is implementing a large-scale project to digitize literature published in the Georgian language. The main goal is to create an electronic book collection accessible to both domestic and foreign researchers. Since 1629, about 250,000 books have been published, including scientific publications, monographs, and fiction. The lab uses modern digitization standards, ensuring high-quality materials and convenient search. The digitized books are available through the University of Georgia Library, and some works are provided in the public domain.
