I strongly advise against going to this tailor. The prices are overly high, especially if they find out you're a tourist. The service is terrible, and the quality of sewing is disappointing. We took a skirt for a minor alteration on a Wednesday morning and paid up front. The lady promised it would be ready by 10 AM the next day, Thursday, but since we were on a tour that day, we agreed to pick it up Friday at the same time, allowing her more time so she wouldn't need to rush. She agreed. However, when we arrived Friday at 11 AM, nothing had been started. She asked us to return in 30 minutes, but we stayed and waited since we were leaving Tbilisi at noon. It took her nearly two hours to do the supposed minor alteration, and the result was extremely poor. The stitches were crooked, and the inner and outer fabrics didn't align. The inner lining was visibly showing because she sewed it incorrectly. We gave her more than enough time, yet she chose to rush at the last minute, leading to a very unsatisfactory outcome.

I went to get a small hole in my shorts fixed, and they wanted to charge me 20 lari for it. The price was then reduced to 15 lari. What followed was a heated argument among the family members, and I couldn't understand what was being said. It seemed like they were upset with the older gentleman for asking me too much. In the end, I decided to leave. While others might have had a positive experience here, mine was not.
