The Women's Information Center (WIC) in Tbilisi is a non-governmental organization established in 2000 with the goal of strengthening women's rights and promoting gender equality in Georgia. Founded thanks to the support of the Georgian Committee of the Helsinki Citizens' Assembly, the organization works to improve the social, economic and political status of women. WIC actively engages with various target groups, including youth, national and religious minorities, and people affected by conflict. The organization's mission is to empower women and protect their rights through public awareness and promotion of democratic processes. You can contact WIC for support on issues of gender equality, women's rights, and women's activism. The organization is known for its experience, transparency and accountability, involves intersectoral cooperation and is one of the first institutions working in this area in Georgia.
