Coalition for Independent Living

The Coalition for Independent Living (CIL) in Tbilisi is a public organization dedicated to creating equal conditions for people with disabilities and their active participation in the political, economic, social and cultural life of society. The organization strives to change traditional approaches to people with disabilities, focusing on transforming social relations, the physical environment and legislation. The coalition supports the work of non-governmental organizations working to protect civil rights and opportunities for people with disabilities. Based on international standards, CIL contributes to the improvement of national legislation and the implementation of universal design. The organization recognizes the right of every person with disabilities to an independent and dignified life.
