Free Pedagogics Centre
- Description
The Center for Free Pedagogy in Tbilisi, founded in 1991 as a non-governmental, non-profit organization, serves as an important educational resource to support children with special educational needs. The basis of the educational program of the center is an adapted version of Waldorf pedagogy, aimed at the comprehensive development and harmonious maturation of children. There is a therapeutic and pedagogical resource school operating here, covering the primary and basic levels of education. School graduates receive a state certificate after completing the ninth grade. This is the only organization in Georgia that provides adapted education that promotes both mental and physical development of children with disabilities. The Center plays a key role in providing innovative pedagogical approaches that help children reach their potential and can be an important support for parents seeking to support their child's well-rounded development.
