Foundation United Nations Association

The United Nations Association of Georgia in Tbilisi (UNA Georgia) is a local non-profit organization operating since 1995. The main mission of the association is to support the democratic aspirations of Georgian citizens, protect human rights and promote freedom of speech. The organization is also actively involved in improving governance and stimulating national debate by encouraging citizen participation in decisions that affect their lives.

As a member of the World Federation of United Nations Associations since 1996, UNA Georgia is part of an international network of more than 100 associations around the world. For its efforts in promoting tolerance and diversity, the organization has been recognized with the World Tolerance Prize and other prestigious awards. The UN Association of Georgia serves as an important platform for citizens wishing to participate in the development of democratic processes and the protection of human rights in the country.
