The Association of European Studies for Innovative Development of Georgia (ESIDG) in Tbilisi is a public organization created in January 2009. The association brings together 60 professors and researchers from various universities, non-governmental and research organizations interested in transforming the research, development and innovation system in Georgia. ESIDG works to introduce the best European practices into scientific and innovation processes, in order to support sustainable development and increase the country's competitiveness in the international arena. The main objective of the organization is to create a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience among the academic community, which will help promote reforms and develop new initiatives in the field of research and innovation. The Association also offers its members the opportunity to collaborate and participate in international projects and conferences.
