International Relations Development Fund - Ertoba
- Description
The Ertoba Foundation for the Development of International Relations in Tbilisi organizes and supports projects in the field of non-formal, formal and informal learning. The foundation's main goal is to identify and validate "invisible" learning experiences, which is an important aspect of lifelong learning policies. Ertoba promotes peace initiatives and the protection of human rights, and also offers educational programs for youth workers, leaders, trainers, teachers and social workers from various sectors - non-governmental, government and commercial.
The organization actively participates in youth exchanges and organizes training courses, seminars and contact meetings with partners from other countries. One of the most important functions of the foundation is information, advisory and mediation activities. In addition, Ertoba provides training on the most current topics: human rights, democracy, citizenship, media and digital skills, employment, entrepreneurship, leadership, environmental protection, and healthy lifestyles.
The Foundation also works to advance knowledge about combating climate change and promote world-leading skills to create sustainable communities and lifestyles. Ertoba promotes the mobility of young people with disabilities and the inclusion of people with fewer opportunities from all age and social backgrounds. By contacting the fund, youth can gain skills for personal development and expand their opportunities to participate in formal and informal education. "Ertoba" also organizes charity events to support socially vulnerable segments of the population.
