Public Organization Aisi

The public organization Aisi in Tbilisi is engaged in increasing the capacity of Georgian civil defense and popularizing volunteer activities. Founded in response to the aftermath of the Russian-Georgian war in 2008, Aisi has been actively teaching citizens the skills needed to protect and assist in emergency situations since 2009. The organization offers free two-month military field courses covering skills such as topography and navigation, first aid, individual and group trench training, rock climbing and more. In addition to courses, Aisi is open to anyone who wants to participate in volunteer activities related to running, hiking, environmental protection and gun culture. Aisi is an apolitical organization and welcomes every motivated citizen seeking to improve the defense capability of Georgian society.
