The Museum of Paleontology of Tbilisi State University, dedicated to history, was founded in 1924 and is located at the address: st. Universitetskaya, 11 (biology building) in Tbilisi. This historical museum, officially part of Tbilisi State University, has a special status. It houses a rich collection of 10,000 objects representing fossil organisms. These valuable exhibits were purchased in various regions of Georgia, the former USSR and European countries, and were also received from individuals in the form of gifts. Open to the public every day, except Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00 to 16:00. It is important to note that entry is free for certain categories of visitors, such as children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with ID), people with disabilities (with valid ID) and refugees.
