Museum of Hotel Citadel Narikala

The museum of the hotel "Citadel Narikala" is located at: st. J. Adzhiashvili, 20, in the city of Tbilisi. It was founded in 2012 and has private status. The museum originates after long archaeological excavations on the territory of the hotel. Artifacts discovered include utensils associated with medical needs dating back to the 5th century AD. Historians suggest that it was here that the first pharmacy in Georgia was located. The permanent exhibition of the museum includes medical objects and archaeological finds. Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. Admission is free for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (ID cards) and people with disabilities (with a valid ID), as well as refugees.
