The Museum of Geology and Paleontology of the Georgian Technical University is located at: st. Kostava, 77, Tbilisi, in the 3rd building of the university. It was founded in 1953 and is part of the Georgian Technical University. Belongs to the category of historical museums. Its collection includes departments devoted to dynamic geology, paleontology, historical geology and vertebrates. You can see there fossils of fossil organisms, models, panels, old landscapes, maps and other artifacts. Open to the public every day, except Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00. Admission is free for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with identification), people with disabilities (upon presentation of documents) and refugees.
