The Apollo Kutateladze Museum is located in the Tbilisi State Art Academy and began its history in 1928. This art institution is part of the academy and specializes in collecting and presenting a variety of works of fine and decorative art. The museum's exhibition includes about 4,000 exhibits, including paintings, drawings, sketches, ceramics and glass, representing various periods and styles of art. Open to the public every day except Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5:30pm. A ticket costs 8 GEL for adult Georgians, and 12 GEL for foreign visitors. However, some categories of guests have free admission: children under 6 years of age, employees of the academy and other museums, members of certain organizations, people with disabilities and refugees (with an identification card). In addition to the main collection, the museum holds temporary exhibitions of Georgian artists, art events and other events. Here you can also take part in educational programs such as symposia, conferences and master classes. In addition, publications are available in the form of catalogs and booklets related to the museum's exhibition.
