Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Vazha Pshavela Memorial Museum

The Vazha Pshavela Museum is located in the building of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. It was founded in 2015 and is part of the university. This memorial museum is a collection reflecting the life and work of the poet Vazha Pshavela. Here you can see unique materials, such as his birth certificate, documents relating to different periods of his life, as well as copies of his manuscripts. In addition, the museum houses rare editions of his works. Open daily, except Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00 to 16:00. Admission is free for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members with appropriate cards, people with disabilities (with a valid ID) and refugees.
