Natela Iankoshvili House Museum

The house-Museum of the artist Natela Yankoshvili was founded in 2000, she is known as the first woman in Georgia with her own exhibition in the Georgian State Art Gallery.
Her special merit lies in the fact that she has developed her own individual formal language, which is manifested in portraits and landscapes. The museum building is located in the artist's studio apartment in Tbilisi, where illustrations for the national epic "Warrior in Tiger Skin" were created.
After studying at the Academy of Arts and many years of participation in group exhibitions in Georgia and the USSR, Yankoshvili was recognized as a laureate of the Shota Rustaveli State Prize. The exhibition hall contains personal materials from the artist's life: letters, photographs and videos, documents, as well as developments of paintings, sketches, graphic works and samples of images for book covers.
