The Georgian Sports Museum, opened in 2006, is located in Tbilisi. This museum is a unique repository of Georgian sports history, with over 6,000 items such as cups, medals, photographs, albums, posters and documents reflecting the rich heritage of the area. The collections are made possible thanks to donations from sports veterans and individuals, which makes them especially valuable. Open to the public every day from 11:00 to 17:00, except Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with an ID card), as well as for people with disabilities, refugees upon presentation of a valid ID card.
