Located in Tbilisi, at I. Chavchavadze Alley, 2, entrance I, VII floor, the Nodar Dumbadze House-Museum is a branch of the Literary and Publicistic Institute (LPI) and is part of the State Museum of Georgian Literature named after George Leonidze. Founded in 1988, this memorial museum is a unique space housing a rich collection dedicated to the outstanding Georgian writer Nodar Dumbadze (1928-1984). The collection covers various aspects of the life and work of Nodar Dumbadze. Visitors can view personal belongings, photographs, correspondence, a library and other documents that shed light on the extraordinary life of a creative personality. The museum's exhibition is dedicated to the writer and represents a fascinating journey into his world and contribution to Georgian literature. Open to the public every day from 11:00 to 17:00, except Saturday and Sunday. It is interesting to note that entry is free. Tickets are not required for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (ID card holders), people with disabilities (with a valid ID) and refugees. In addition, the museum offers a variety of educational programs, including events dedicated to the personality of the writer. Visitors can also familiarize themselves with the museum’s booklets, which reveal additional interesting facts and aspects related to the work of Nodar Dumbadze.
