Chiaturmanganum Georgia LLC (CHMG), founded on May 8, 2008, is an important player in the Georgian metallurgical industry, specializing in the production and sale of manganese. Over the years, the company has significantly expanded its production capacity and technological capabilities:
In August 2008, the first plant was built - the Nakhshirgeli Ferroalloy Plant with an annual capacity of 4800-5400 tons.
In 2011, the plant expanded, increasing production capacity to 10,800-12,000 tons.
In 2012, further re-equipment and expansion of capacity took place, which made it possible to increase production volume to 26,400-29,400 tons of ferroalloys per year.
The company also expanded its production capacity through the acquisition of manganese ore processing plants, two mini-processing plants in Chiatura, as well as a ferroalloy plant in Rustavi.
In 2013, CHMG built a manganese sequestration plant in Chiatura and in 2015 acquired another ferroalloys plant.
Chiaturmanganum Georgia invests significant efforts in training its staff and participating in international exhibitions and conferences. The company actively participates in charitable, economic and social projects, emphasizing its social responsibility.
On August 13, 2015, CHMG took an active part in the creation of the Ferroalloy and Manganese Miners Association, which aims to develop and promote the industry, as well as strengthen cooperation with government, NGOs, educational institutions and civil society to increase export share.
