Bicycle shop "Veloplus | Lanima"

Sehr toller Fahrradladen und Werkstatt. Der Mechaniker hat unsere beiden Fahrräder durchgecheckt und eine neue Kette angebracht. Er stellte auch die Bremsen neu ein. Bei meinem Pinion-Getriebe machte er einen Ölwechsel. Er schien dabei besonders zufrieden zu sein, da er Pinion seit über zehn Jahren kennt und wartet. Das Öl hatte ich zufällig selbst mitgebracht, da ein Ölwechsel bald fällig war. Der Reifen meines Vorderrads war beschädigt, was er sofort bemerkte und einen neuen Reifen mit Schlauch aufgezogen hat. Der gesamte Service war sehr kostengünstig. Wir waren äußerst zufrieden.

Unfortunately, I have to share a negative experience. The mechanic at the shop is friendly and seems knowledgeable. We requested a thorough service for our bikes, as we wouldn't find another shop soon. Although he cleaned the bikes well and even painted the pannier racks, after just 50km of cycling following our bus trip to Turkey, both bikes started squeaking. The crankset was noisy, and my girlfriend’s brakes were inadequately serviced, forcing us to seek another repair. It’s disappointing for a couple on a tight budget. I asked for a refund since the service didn’t meet the expected standard, but the owner refused. My advice is to be specific about the needed repairs; otherwise, they might only clean the bike and overlook mechanical concerns. I hope this helps others and the shop improve.

This shop is a great find in the area. My daughter's bike had a flat tire and after getting it fixed at another place, it went flat again because they missed some small pins. Here, they showed me the tube size, thickness, and quality. They even offered to patch it instead of replacing it, which other shops didn’t suggest. Having visited bike shops for years, I find these options reasonable. I'm pleased with the service and will definitely return when needed.

You won't find a better mechanic than Dima! We visited with a mysterious tubeless problem, and Dima quickly identified the issue: a small hole in the rim. He efficiently replaced the rim, reinstalled the tubeless setup in no time, and offered a great price. Dima also took the time to check the bikes thoroughly, adjusting the gears and straightening a bent disc.

This bike shop and service center is exceptional. They went above and beyond in servicing and repairing my bike, and even assisted with importing spare parts from the UK and navigating customs in Georgia. Dami is an outstanding mechanic with an unmatched passion for bikes, evident in his work. The shop owner was incredibly helpful with everything. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience and amazing staff, especially Dima the mechanic. He helped me out at the last minute, tackling a complex internal cable housing issue with dedication. This place is the best in town. I checked out all the other stores, but he managed to get the job done, even staying late to finish it. Highly recommend!
