Visa pickup is restricted to the hours of 2-5 pm, with no option to collect it in the morning. Morning lines can be quite lengthy, so arriving early is advisable. Ensure all documents are printed and have the exact change ready for pickup.

Incredibly quick and efficient service, no lines (March 2025). You can get an express visa in just 2 days. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous—highly recommend.

The staff at the visa window seem to think they have the authority to decide on granting Chinese visas. They are rude, conceited, arrogant, and ignorant, completely unaware that they are dealing not only with tourists but also with guests of Chinese government officials. I feel anxious about going back after such an unhelpful interaction with this Georgian man.

Получение туристической визы прошло без проблем, все оказалось на удивление быстро. На форумах пишут об огромных очередях и необходимости приходить к 5 утра, но когда я подавала документы — 16 декабря, ничего такого не было. В обычное рабочее время консульства проблем с подачей не возникло. Сотрудники очень вежливые и приятные.

Консул просто невероятный! Очень благодарна за помощь в получении годовой бизнес-визы! Будучи украинкой, часто сталкиваюсь с тем, что визы выдают максимум на месяц. Но в замечательной Грузии, с доброжелательными людьми, мне удалось оформить все как полагается для подтверждения своего статуса бизнес-леди (конечно, с пакетом всех нужных документов). На входе всегда приветливый и аккуратный охранник, а у стойки — красивый и разговорчивый консул! Единственное, жаль, что не взяла сувениры из Украины, чтобы как-то отблагодарить. Огромное спасибо еще раз! ❤️

Консул просто отличный! Огромная благодарность сотрудникам за быстрое и легкое получение визы в Китай 🇨🇳 Утренних очередей оказалось меньше, чем писали на форумах, так что приходить раньше 7 утра нет смысла.

Absolutely the worst embassy experience I've had, and I've lived in various countries, including two stays in China. The appointment system is awful, but the main issue is the Georgian girl at the counter. She has no clue what she's doing. My wife and I got married in Tbilisi and needed our marriage certificate authenticated for my job in China. We waited for hours, only to be told she couldn’t authenticate it because neither of us is Georgian. Where did she even get that information? It’s not on the consulate’s website. The website clearly states that if it's a legal document from Georgia with the right stamps/apostilles and you have the application, it should be authenticated. No mention of nationality requirements. Georgia is known for its easy marriage process, and Georgian marriages are globally recognized. Either the Georgian government is lying or this girl at the consulate is making stuff up. To make things worse, there's no way to resolve it; she just tells me to email the embassy. But guess what? The email address on their website doesn't work; it just bounces back. So now my wife can’t get a spousal visa all because of someone’s incompetence.

1. Запишите своё имя в рукописный список накануне перед подачей заявления на визу, его найдёте слева от двери.
2. На следующий день приходите в 8 утра, чтобы отстоять своё имя в списке.
3. Приблизительно в 8:15 утра раздают талоны с номерами от 1 до 36, не более.
4. Убедитесь, что получите именно тот номер, который записали в списке, только тогда сможете войти в консульство по очереди.

Es ist wichtig, die Abläufe dort zu kennen. Für den Visumantrag gibt es keine festen Termine. Man muss stattdessen während der Öffnungszeiten (Mo, Mi, Fr 9.00-12.00) kommen und sich auf lange Wartezeiten einstellen. Eine selbstorganisierte Liste der Wartenden bestimmt die Reihenfolge, und nur die ersten 35 Personen werden überhaupt bedient. Manche Leute kommen schon ab 2.00 Uhr nachts, um früh genug da zu sein. Wir waren um 5.00 Uhr dort und bekamen die Nummer 12. Wenn man die Wartezeit zum Schlafen nutzt und zwischenzeitlich weggeht, kann es passieren, dass eine neue Liste begonnen wird. Um 9.00 Uhr öffnet der Wachmann die Tür und verteilt Zettel mit den Nummern 1-35 an die Ersten in der Liste. Diese werden dann nacheinander bedient. Die Mitarbeiterin war zwar sehr freundlich, aber der ganze Prozess war letztlich sehr mühsam und voller Unannehmlichkeiten.

Terrible attitude and complete disorganization. I waited outside for 2 hours, only to be met with rude staff and rejection once inside. Couldn’t even speak to the person in charge. He barely glanced at my passport before telling me to leave. Racism is awful, and the way I was treated was unacceptable. This kind of behavior will have consequences. 👎

The consular regulations seem to change frequently. However, the Georgian girl working here is very kind and helpful.
