Writers' House - a boutique hotel for literature lovers

Writers' House of Georgia is a unique hotel and cultural space located in a historic mansion on Machabeli Street, just 600 meters from the Freedom Square metro station.
The building was built in 1903-1905 by order of David Sarajishvili, a philanthropist and wine baron. Writers, translators and intellectuals of the 20th century lived, met and worked within its walls. Since 2017, Writers' House has been offering author's suites, each of which is dedicated to legendary personalities: Alexandre Dumas, John Steinbeck, Boris Pasternak, Nizami Ganjavi, Marjorie and Oliver Wardrop. The interiors are decorated with antique furniture, each room has its own style and atmosphere.
The territory houses the famous Littera restaurant - one of the most beautiful open-air restaurants in Tbilisi, surrounded by greenery and Art Nouveau architectural elements. It serves modern Georgian cuisine, and the floor is laid with original Villeroy & Boch tiles.
The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, sitting areas, bathrooms, wardrobes and Wi-Fi. A continental breakfast is served in the morning. Writers’ House also includes a museum, a library, conference rooms and spaces for cultural events.
