    I spent a month at the former Green Yard Hostel, now called EGGE. The host was friendly, and it felt just like being at home.

    It took forever to find someone when I arrived. There was only one fan working for the whole place—the other one was broken, and this was in August! In the room for six people, there were only two electrical outlets. The toilet door wouldn't close, and neither would the shower door. Hot water was available just about 25% of the time, and the shower walls were literally falling apart. The guy there is friendly, but that’s not enough. This place is ridiculous.
