Georgian restaurant "Veriko"

Located within the Wine Factory complex and connected to Kikodze Bar, this restaurant has an appealing decor and is well organized. The service met basic expectations but didn't leave a memorable impression. The quality of the food varied. The appetizers, both hot and cold, were excellent, with the chicken liver pâté and the spicy eggplant spread standing out in particular. The Veriko Salad 4.0 and the Georgian salad were acceptable, though I would have preferred the vegetables to be chilled instead of at room temperature. Among the three main courses we ordered, the pork dish was excessively salty and inedible, numbing my mouth and impacting the experience of the other dishes. While some people mentioned slow service, I felt the opposite; it was too rushed. The main courses arrived before we had finished the appetizers, showing poor timing rather than attentive service.

This place is incredibly romantic, especially in the evenings. It's perfect for enjoying beers and Georgian wines.

Если у сотрудников есть какие-то политические взгляды, лучше им не работать в ресторанах столицы. Еда была вкусной, но запомнился исключительно отвратительный сервис.

This place focuses on Megrelian dishes, particularly from Zugdidi. They serve polenta cooked with cheese, creating a delightful khacha-polenta or khacha-mashed-potatoes. It's amazing, especially when paired with their homemade pork sausage. The combination offers a truly blissful experience.

The grilled chicken was nice, but the duck was just okay. The eggplant with nuts was the worst I've had in Georgia. Meat portions were small, with absurdly large sides. The service was fine, and the terrace was pleasant.

The food quality is below average. The pumpkin soup tastes good, but the chakapuli is mostly bones, not meat.

The staff here is completely unprofessional, just hanging around the cashier's area and chatting. We ordered a main course, and they took forever to serve it. After waiting for 45 minutes, we found out they didn’t even have it. The manager stood there looking unapproachable and didn’t bother to check on the customers. Steer clear of this place.

The food is average, but the staff's attitude is very rude and inattentive. It's absurd that they speak Russian amongst themselves but refuse to use it with guests, which seems related to my nationality. If you work in service, leave politics at the door. At least learn to speak English properly and communicate effectively with customers.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant left us disappointed. The food was not impressive; the chicken with garlic sauce tasted quite ordinary, as if it was made from frozen ingredients. The kbdari fell apart when served, which made it difficult to eat. The taste was passable, but nothing special. Cocktails also lacked originality. Service was a major issue. Despite the presence of 5-7 waiters near us, service was slow. Some items we ordered were unavailable, but this was only mentioned after waiting for 5-10 minutes. They also failed to accommodate our request to share three dishes between two people, resulting in a long wait of 40-50 minutes for the third dish. They initially got the cheese component wrong, but at least they replaced it after we pointed it out. We had to ask twice for the bill, which was frustrating given the number of staff present. Overall, this was a disappointing experience with both service and food during our visit to Tbilisi.

Visited numerous times on our trip, hands down the best Georgian salad I've ever tasted. The other dishes were enjoyable too. On one occasion, I got cold pork balls, but they promptly replaced them with fresh ones. The staff is amiable. Truly a delightful spot!

Really cool spot as part of the Vine Factory complex. They offer a fusion of Georgian dishes with a nice variety of wines. The food is tasty, and the vibe is modern. The place is popular with tourists and expats, which adds to the nice atmosphere.

Забронировали столик заранее для нашей большой компании. Интерьер заведения впечатляет, но еда не так хороша. Заказ несли очень долго, и в итоге мы поели только закуски и сладости, так как основное блюдо куда-то пропало, хотя сделали предзаказ. Это была наша первая ночь в Тбилиси, и она не оставила особых впечатлений. Вдобавок, один из сотрудников был очень груб, когда мы решили сфотографироваться у бара, хотя у нас был там столик.

Уютная обстановка, обслуживание было оперативным, но порции оказались небольшими, а лобио не оставило большого впечатления.

Absolutely terrible experience and service in Tbilisi. Booked a dinner for a group of 18 the day before and confirmed it at least three times over the phone. Still, they couldn't arrange the table or find space for us. To make it worse, the staff rolled their eyes at us and blamed everything on the customers. This was supposed to be a welcome dinner for Asian guests, and it gave them a perfect first impression of Georgia. Thanks for the incompetence, we won't be back. Plus, everything is ridiculously overpriced for the service provided. It's just not worth it!

I used to love this restaurant – the food was truly delicious. Unfortunately, things have changed. The food now is, to put it mildly, not great. Portions have become about a third of their original size. It’s really sad and disappointing. I returned a couple of times hoping it was just an off day — but sadly, no. The quality has clearly gone down. This place is not what it used to be.

Обслуживание очень медленное, официантов не хватает. Лимонад средний, обычный лимонад Лагидзе, а кофе был вкусным. Коктейль тоже был хорошим. Цены слишком завышены, просто безумие. Официально заявляю, что этот баскский чизкейк — лучший из тех, что я пробовал, он просто невероятный, супер кремовый и насыщенный. Я люблю чизкейки и попробовал много разных, но этот — нечто особенное. Айс-кофе был обычным, с мороженым, ничего особенного, но всё же вкусным. Персонал вежливый и отзывчивый. Обстановка понравилась, цены обычные.

The food is incredibly tasty and inventive, with everything perfectly spiced. The cucumber and tomato salad with walnuts is amazing and pairs well with any dish. The Elarji with Kharcho is a must-try for fans of hearty, meaty meals. The service is exceptionally friendly, offering great food recommendations and advice. They even point out dishes they personally don't prefer. The staff was very helpful to us. Be aware that you need to make a reservation since the place is always busy. The atmosphere is delightful, with a beautiful interior and a charming outdoor area full of lush greenery, flowers, and trees. I highly recommend visiting!

We stumbled upon this spot at Wine Factory N1 and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Delicious food and friendly service! The total bill was 954 GEL for 13 of us, including 3 bottles of wine 😊❤️.

I want to express my deep frustration with the service: Due to poor air quality inside, we were seated in a drafty spot right by the door. We got the menu quickly, but no one took our order for over 20 minutes. The restaurant was only half full, and there were four staff members around, yet they ignored our signals to order. It seems they're doing well enough to neglect their customers. We decided to leave and went to another place, where the service was prompt and the food was excellent. So, thank you, team, for not serving us.

It seems like the positive reviews are outdated, because this place is honestly the worst lunch experience we’ve had. Service was terrible: no one asked how we wanted the dishes served, so some of us ate while others waited 20 minutes. We had to negotiate with the manager just to have mashed potatoes served separately. At the end, when the manager asked if we liked it and we said "No," she just shrugged and walked off. The dishes try to appear upscale, but all four we ordered used the same sauce. Portions were tiny, and the food tasted like cheap cafeteria fare, only made to look fancy with a bit of dill oil. The staff couldn’t care less about us or our experience. Normally, this might be bearable, but the prices are high. At another place, you'd spend less and have a much better time. 0 out of 5.

The soup was not served. The eggplant with walnuts was outstanding. We tasted the duck and falafel as our main courses, but they were not to our liking. The prices are higher than at other places in Tbilisi.

The food here is excellent, but I was surprised when the waiter refused to serve me tap water. Another waiter explained that they use tank water, which isn't drinkable. It's unbelievable that in the heart of Vera, someone uses tank water. Even during the 1990s, Vera didn't experience water issues. This claim seems unlikely and somewhat embarrassing.

We visited for lunch, but no one welcomed us or showed us to a table. After sitting and waiting for a while and repeatedly asking, we finally received the menu. We waited about 20 minutes, yet no one came to take our order. They don't know how to treat customers. We ended up leaving and chose another restaurant instead. I wouldn't recommend going there at all.

I've been here many times, but today might have changed that. I ordered Khinkali and made sure to ask if it could be ready in 15 minutes. The waiter assured me it would be, but it actually took 40 minutes and was undercooked. Given the high prices, I expected better service. There was no apology or acknowledgment, just indifference to an unhappy customer.

We went there with high expectations based on the reviews, but were extremely disappointed. We tried various dishes, and all of them were terrible. The chicken dishes, in particular, were awful. We couldn't eat more than a bite. The waitstaff was unfriendly and got rude after being asked a couple of questions. The prices are high. I do not recommend it.

Вкуснейшее харчо с эларджи и салат с козьим сыром. Это место расположено на территории бывшего винного завода. Стоит прогуляться по этой локации и осмотреть здание, тут есть и другие заведения с такими же вкусными блюдами и отличным сервисом.

Отличное заведение в центре Тбилиси с привлекательной террасой и стильным интерьером. Меню доступно на английском, и персонал владеет как русским, так и английским языками. Ассортимент блюд хорошо подобран для европейских туристов, хотя кухня не совсем традиционно грузинская. Если вы голодны, здесь можно найти несколько замечательных блюд. Очень рекомендую попробовать абжасандал — у них он превосходный.

Очень уютное место с привлекательным дизайном. Отличное расположение. Однако обслуживание оставляет желать лучшего. Официанты работают без особого энтузиазма. Заказала два блюда, но принесли только одно, о втором забыли. Десерт для соседнего столика долго не приносили, несмотря на оплату. Официант не дал четкого ответа на мой вопрос о задержке. К качеству еды претензий нет — все очень вкусно. Стейк из семги был великолепен. Друг тоже был доволен своими заказами. Место замечательное, кухня и интерьер на высоте, а вот обслуживание на троечку из десяти.

Дважды посещали это место! Все понравилось. Еда замечательная, обстановка приятная. Если бы еще сотрудники чуть чаще улыбались 😀.

The service here is the absolute worst in all of Tbilisi.

Посетил заведение для завтрака, заказ принесли через 28 минут, а напиток доставили уже после еды. Постоянно приходилось махать официанту — он плохо понимал даже простой английский. Недостаточно персонала, обслуживание было ужасным. Отдал большие деньги за такое. Не рекомендую, остался крайне разочарован.

Люди, будете в Тбилиси, прошу вас не ходите в Veriko, если хотите здоровый желудок. Еда там вообще не вкусная, просто фуу. Все какое то не свежее, пересушенное, очень жирное. Ценник не гуманный и обслуживают официанты долго, их не дождешься. Хоть сама иди ...

В "Veriko" очень медленное обслуживание, около 50 минут ожидали заказ из пары блюд. Меню какое-то неправдоподобное, тяжело по описанию представить конечный результат. "Угощались" тем, что у них зовётся вегетарианское харчо. В реальности это непонятное и соленное блюдо.

Посещать Veriko следует при каждой поездке в Тбилиси стало нашей семейной традицией. Он не так распиарен, как Lolita или PurPur, хотя грузинская кухня тут определённо лучшая. Салат с курицей на гриле под малиновый соусом- божественно!

Ресторан Veriko в городе Тбилиси привлекает своим месторасположением. Рядом классное место для прогулок. Меню праздничное, грузинские блюда. Но не так хороши по вкусу. В барбекю из лосося с соусом песто лосось был сухим, а соус песто я не пробовал. Курица в ежевике не так вкусна, как обещали. Почини и шарики из тыквенного теста были неплохие. Дороговато. Не уверен, что еще раз вернусь, но можно попробовать.

Большие порции восхитительных блюд грузинской кухни поразили. Отличная цветная капуста с нежным тающим баже и ароматный лобио не оставят вас равнодушным. Интересная (и много где уже забытая) подача харчо с эларджи - пальчики оближешь! Пончики - это просто сказка! Учитывая, что я к ним равнодушен, но не могу теперь их забыть - слова излишни. Отзывчивые сотрудники оперативно все сделали, профессионально и с улыбкой! Хочется посетить Тбилиси летом, чтобы ещё посидеть на веранде этого ресторана.
