  • Description

Vilnius Park in Tbilisi is a small cozy space for relaxation, located opposite the funicular. It was opened in 2009 in gratitude to Lithuania for its support in the Russian-Georgian war. In 2019, the park was updated and renovated, after which a sculpture of an angel was installed in it, donated to Tbilisi by the Lithuanian sculptor Vaidas Ramoska. The sculpture of an angel is located near the fountain and symbolizes the protection of the city and its inhabitants.

The main feature of the park is a fountain in the form of a curved wall, from which water flows into a rectangular pool. A small white angel sits on top of the wall, adding a special charm to the park. Vilnius Park is a quiet place with an abundance of trees and benches where you can spend time in the shade. A large number of CCTV cameras are installed here to ensure the safety of visitors.

This square attracts both city residents and tourists, offering a calm and safe place to relax. A walk through the park area will be a great way to spend time away from the noise of the city, enjoying nature and art.
