Zion Square, also known as Sofiko Chiaureli Garden, is located in the heart of the Old Town of Tbilisi, between Kote Abkhazi and Sioni streets, not far from the caravanserai of Princess Tekle and the famous Zion Cathedral. The square is named after the cathedral, which is one of the city's key attractions. In the center of the park there is a monument to the famous Georgian actress Sofiko Chiaureli, made by sculptor Levan Vardosanidze in 2009. Every year at the end of May the Tbilisi Flower Festival is held here, attracting many guests and tourists. Zion Square is not only a place of relaxation, but also a cultural center where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and feel the atmosphere of historical Tbilisi.
