Attended "The Map of Georgian Art" exhibition recently. The gallery displayed works by Georgian artists from the late 20th century, who initially worked underground before gaining recognition after Georgia's independence. Artists like Levan Chogoshvili, Merab Abramishvili, Irakli Parjiani, and Mamuka Tsetskhladze were featured. Kako Topouria's "Mountains" and Merab Abramishvili's "Dancer" particularly caught my eye. At the entrance, there were souvenirs, postcards, and posters of renowned paintings available for purchase. Three women employees were present, all friendly, fluent in English, and created a warm atmosphere ideal for appreciating the art.
