The wine selection is impressive, but the service is incredibly slow. This morning, I found myself stuck in line as the staff took their time. With four registers available, only two were staffed, while others strolled around chatting. After standing in line for over 20 minutes, I had to leave to catch my flight. When I gave up my spot, I had only made it halfway, and it would have taken another 30 minutes to check out. The inefficiency was frustrating. Many tourists like me ended up leaving for their flights without purchasing anything. This place is supposed to be in business, but it seems like they don't really care.

Your currency is the Georgian Lari, not the Euro! Avoid buying wine at this store! The prices are absurd. Spend your money in the city and get homemade wine from a local Babushka, it's likely 100 times better than what you find in this "Duty Free" shop at the airport.

Great wine prices with an impressive display and friendly staff. There's a wide variety of excellent wines to choose from in the shop. It appears they've improved their services after seeing numerous negative reviews. Updated in August 2024.

Когда рассчитываешься в грузинском магазине на границе Ардаган Чылдыра Акташ, ощущение такое, будто тебя пытаются обмануть. Цены на товар значительно завышены, а если пересчитываешь сумму из евро в турецкие лиры, то на 20% дороже, чем должно быть. Они требуют наличные, а при попытке оплатить картой берут 5% комиссию. Чек на покупку не дают, документов тоже нет. Такая ситуация, похоже, происходит без ведома компании, чтобы извлечь личную выгоду. На другой границе, в Пософе, с таким не сталкивался. Все жалобы касаются именно магазина на границе Акташ. Обращаюсь к тем, кто за это отвечает: проверьте, пожалуйста, что тут происходит. Люди крайне недовольны.

This place is a complete rip-off. Prices are deceptively shown in Euros instead of Lari, unlike other shops at the airport that use Lari. Questioning this leads to the cashier getting upset and intentionally wasting time, knowing you need to catch your flight. Everything here is outrageously overpriced, and the service is terrible. Just check the photo below where they try to conceal the Euro sign – it’s clear deception. Avoid this scam no matter what.

Avoid purchasing wine at the airport. The price tags show the same numbers, but they are in EUR, not GEL. This means the cost is three times higher. Don’t be fooled; buy your wine in the city center instead.

В магазине отличный выбор вина, цены чуть выше, чем в самом Тбилиси. Но если у вас нет зарегистрированного багажа, то выгодно покупать в дьюти-фри. Видимо, цена чуть выше из-за отсутствия акциза на вино, но даже с учетом этого, за 50 евро, которые обычно стоят багаж, можно взять несколько хороших бутылок грузинского вина. Здесь также можно найти приправы, соки, соусы, сладости вроде чурчхелы и сыры, включая сулугуни. Персонал всегда готов помочь и можно попросить дегустацию выбранного вина.

Aldığım parfüm sahteydi. Türkiye’den sadece 100 TL daha ucuza aldığım Armani parfümü 15 dakika bile kokusunu korumadı. Hiçbir şekilde yardımcı olmadılar. Kesinlikle oradan alışveriş yapmayın. Kız arkadaşım aldığımız alkolden zehirlendi. İnceleme sonucunda alkolün sahte olduğu ortaya çıktı. Konuyu avukatıma ilettim. Artık bunu onlar düşünsün.

The staff at counter ID1 failed to seal my bottle, which led to it being confiscated at the security gate. The officer mentioned this wasn't the first time this happened. Be cautious and make sure to double-check your bags. The employees clearly lack proper training.

На кассе обслуживание просто ужасное—грубость и полное безразличие. Клиентов не замечают, кассир занят своими делами. На просьбы обслужить или принять оплату вообще не реагируют. Цены на вино и коньяк неадекватно завышены по сравнению с городом. Полное отсутствие гостеприимства, здесь его нет совсем.

Die Preisauszeichnung in Euro ist äußerst irreführend und unpassend für dieses Land. An der Kasse stehen viele Kunden, die denken, sie hätten günstig in GEL eingekauft, und dann mit Karte bezahlen. Plötzlich ist der Betrag dreimal so hoch. Und dann gibt es noch Leute wie mich, die bar zahlen wollten, aber alles zurückgeben müssen, weil das Geld nicht reicht. Ein mieser Trick von dieser Firma.

Purchased a mini Mars chocolate bag, and it was melted when I opened it at the airport. Went back to exchange it, but they refused and didn’t care that I would leave a review. Unfortunately, there's nothing more I can do since, like every passenger, I have to go. Avoid buying chocolate there.

The prices here are ridiculously high. It's just not worth buying anything. Wines are three times more expensive than in the city. Other alcohols cost about 15-20% more than at other duty-free shops.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I completely understand the frustration of others who have commented before. Even though it’s supposed to be tax-free, prices are 50-60% higher compared to outside the airport. They only accept Euros, and the exchange rate to GEL is the worst I've encountered. The service was appalling: first, I was aggressively asked if I wanted wine recommendations. At the cashier, three employees were helping one person while joking around, which was infuriating. They also didn't have coins for the exact change and expected me to just accept it. After insisting, they finally gave me the correct amount.

Очень дорого, лучше покупать в самом Тбилиси. Вино стоит в три раза дороже, чем за пределами, даже несмотря на "дьюти-фри". Избегайте.

Very limited selection, mostly just chocolates. No salty snacks available. Terrible for duty-free; it's hard to grab your favorite treat before your flight.
