The front door with paintings from the late 19th century in Tbilisi is the architectural pearl of Sololaki
- Description
The Front Hall with Wall Paintings in Sololaki is a unique architectural space in the historical center of Tbilisi, restored as part of the cultural heritage preservation program.
The Front Hall is located at 42 Tabukashvili Street in a residential building from the late 19th century and is decorated with authentic frescoes, stucco and stained glass. During the restoration, original elements were returned: ornamental wall paintings, ancient stair railings, decorative coffered ceilings. Thanks to the efforts of artists and restorers, the place has regained its former sophistication.
The Front Hall is open for viewing only from the outside or as part of special tours - this is a great place for a photo, especially for those interested in the history of Tbilisi architecture and the atmosphere of the old city.
