  • Description

The Institute of Social Relations of Georgia-Ukraine, located in the industrial center of Rustavi in the Kvemo Kartli region, is a unique educational institution offering non-formal vocational training. The institute provides training at all levels and specializes in adapting courses to the realities of the modern world.

In the academic campus of the Institute there is the only kindergarten in the world, located on a Yak-40 aircraft, which is equipped with special rooms for VIP passengers and children's entertainment areas. The pride of the city is the temple, built with the blessing of Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II.

The institute's training center offers programs in theater and cinema, on the basis of which operates a theater troupe that has won international festivals. Additionally, there are centers of friendship and international relations with various countries, such as the USA, Poland and Greece.

Vocational training and retraining centers, a children's day center and a nursing home provide comprehensive solutions for the return of emigrants and the integration of different social groups. This makes the academic campus an important center for consolidating Georgian talent.

For students and teachers, there are dormitories, a scientific and art library and a student cafe "Big Change". The large-circulation publication “Hemi Georgia” is periodically published, and there is also a local radio station and Internet television.

The Georgian Teachers' Union named after Jacob Gogebashvili and its large-circulation magazine "School and Life" complement the educational ecosystem of the academic campus. The Institute's non-formal vocational education centers operate in 28 administrative centers throughout the country.

The Institute of Social Relations of Georgia-Ukraine and the Rustavi Academic Town have been awarded numerous awards, including the Golden Order of Plato, "EUCEN" and "IEAC" accreditations, and are members of the World International Committee.
