Academician Aleksandre Javakhishvili House Museum

In the village of Dzevera, Gori municipality, the House-Museum of Academician Alexander Javakhishvili, founded in 1986, is located. This memorial museum is a non-entrepreneurial (non-profit) institution supported by the Agency for the Development of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Gori. The museum's collection represents valuable artifacts related to the life of academician Alexander Javakhishvili and his lover, academician Nino Javakhishvili. Memorabilia, scientific materials and other items that reveal the creative heritage of these outstanding personalities are stored here. Open daily, except Sunday and Monday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Visiting the museum is absolutely free. Free entry is provided to children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with ID), people with disabilities (with valid ID) and refugees.
