In the picturesque village of Sasireti, in the heart of the Shida Kartli region, a historical masterpiece of the 17th century awaits you - the Shervashidze Ancestral Tower. This majestic tower, dating back to ancient times, impresses with its architecture and mysterious history.

The tower, built from durable cobblestones, is the last evidence of the ruined castle, leaving behind only this mesmerizing artifact. The interior of the tower is decorated with brick, and on the ground floor you are greeted by a rectangular entrance surrounded by four niches and four narrow windows with cut loopholes.

Perhaps the most exciting aspect is the second floor, reached by a staircase in the south wall. Here, the loopholes have turned into arched windows, and the fireplace, located right in front of the entrance, recalls former luxury, although it is currently perpetuated by destruction.

To plunge into the atmosphere of the past, you should climb the stone staircase in the southern wall leading to the third floor. Although the floor has partially collapsed, it still surprises with its plastered walls and ancient traces of time.
