Tsalenjikha Ethnographical Museum

Tsalenjikha is home to the unique Tsalenjikha Ethnographic Museum, founded in 2003. This historical repository, owned by the Cultural Center of the Tsalenjikha City Council, presents more than 2,500 valuable exhibits. The museum's collection is varied and amazing. It contains archaeological finds ranging from Paleolithic and Neolithic objects, such as stone hand axes and bronze items, to weapons and household items from the 19th and 20th centuries of the region. Among the exhibits you can find ceramic, wooden, glass and copper dishes, photographs and documents about famous personalities of the area. The museum is open to the public every day from 10:00 to 18:00, except Saturday and Sunday. Entry is absolutely free for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members with an identity card, as well as people with disabilities and refugees upon presentation of documents.
