Valia Bechvaia Local Museum

Located in the village of Kirtskhi in the Chkhorotsku municipality, the Vali Bechvaya Local History Museum has been welcoming visitors since 2005. This historical museum, registered as a non-entrepreneurial (non-profit) legal entity - the Chkhorotsku Historical Museum, is a valuable resource for studying local history. The museum's collection includes more than two thousand items representing various aspects of the history of the region. Here you will find picturesque ethnographic exhibits, archaeological finds, natural and paleontological materials, numismatics, as well as valuable photographs, film and music materials. The museum is open to the public every day, except Sundays, from 10:00 to 18:00. It is important to note that entry is absolutely free. Free access is provided to children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with an ID card), as well as people with disabilities (with a valid ID card) and refugees.
