Iona Meunargia House Museum

In the village of Tsaishi, Zugdidi municipality, there is a museum steeped in history - the House-Museum of Jonah Meunargia. Opened in 1966, this is a non-profit institution owned by the Municipality of Zugdidi and belonging to the “Local Center for Museum Management”. This memorial site is a collection of various artefacts, books and photographs related to history and heritage. Visitors can see unique items associated with Iona Meunargia, which makes the place special. Open to the public every day, except Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Admission is free for many categories of visitors, including children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with ID), as well as people with disabilities (with supporting documents) and refugees.
