Aleksandre Sajaia House Museum

In Zugdidi, in the village of Odishi, there is the House-Museum of Alexander Sajay, founded in 1988. This museum is a non-profit institution, whose legal entity is represented by the Municipality of Zugdidi under the name “Local Center for Museum Management”. The museum specializes in memorial collections. Inside the museum walls there is a valuable collection of memorial items, books and photographs. Visitors can immerse themselves in the history and heritage presented in the museum's exhibits. Open daily, except Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Interestingly, entry to the museum is absolutely free. Free access is provided to children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with presentation of an ID card), as well as people with disabilities with an appropriate ID card and refugees. This opens up the opportunity for a diverse range of visitors to enjoy cultural heritage without financial barriers.
