Gautskinari village public school
- Description
The public school of the village of Gauzkinari in Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti is the main educational institution in the region. The school was renamed in 2011 and has since been known as "Gaukshinari State Basic School". In 2012, significant landscaping work was carried out: modern metal-plastic windows were installed, which improved the façade of the building and made it possible to better heat the premises in winter.
The school actively introduces modern technologies into the educational process. Free wireless internet has been available for several years, connected to four computers, facilitating students' and teachers' learning and research projects. Fiber optic cables were also installed in 2012, which greatly improved Internet connectivity.
The school's equipment is regularly updated. Also in 2012, new computer processors, a projector and a copy machine were transferred. Primary school students receive small book computers to help them learn. The school's teachers undergo regular certification, improving their professional skills and receiving appropriate certificates.
In the 2013-2014 school year, the government provided the school with free textbooks, which was a significant support for students. Reconstruction of the building continued in 2015. The roof, window and door structures were updated, and paths around the building were installed. The work was carried out by a construction organization from Tbilisi and local specialists.
The public school of Gauzkinari village provides high-quality education, combining traditional methods with modern technologies. Its infrastructure and educational resources make it possible to create favorable conditions for the development of students. A visit to the school can be useful both for those familiar with the educational process and for those who are interested in modern approaches to education in rural regions of Georgia.
