The three-sided moat surrounding the fortress inspires the imagination. Today its depth is 3-4 meters, but in the past it was probably even deeper, giving the fortress additional defensive power. The stone structure of Kotianeti is built from broken stones on lime mortar, where each row inspires strength and stability.
