Khadinskoe Gorge - a narrow alley of towers and history in the Caucasus

Khadinskoe Gorge is a mysterious valley in the southern Caucasus nature, located near Gudauri, in a branch of the Big Aragvi River canyon. It is known as the "valley of 60 towers", densely dotted with ancient guard buildings.
The gorge begins near the village of Kvesheti (≈ 90 km from Tbilisi), then leads to villages, including the only year-round settlements Bedoni and seasonal ones - Gomurni, Iukho, Beniatbegoni. In addition to the towers, there is a mineral spring, a waterfall and a meadow with unusual nature.
Khadinskoe Gorge is a popular route for bikers and hikers. The trail leads through traces of medieval buildings, churches and cemeteries, and also offers secluded picnics and quiet contemplation of nature.
