Tetritskaro Museum of Local Lore, located at st. Queen Tamar, 34 in the municipality of Tetritskaro, is an important cultural and educational center. Opened in 1966, this museum became a non-profit organization that is part of the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Tetritskaro. The museum specializes in historical exhibits and presents an archaeological collection found in Tetritskaro, which dates back to the Bronze Age. This collection includes tools, weapons, bronze astral buckles and belts, various jewelry, ceramic household items of unusual shape, as well as works of painting and sculpture, which makes it especially valuable for studying the history and culture of the region. The museum is open to the public every day except Saturday and Sunday, from 10.00 to 18.00. The ticket price is only 1 GEL, and children under 6 years old, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members, people with disabilities and refugees can visit the museum for free. The Tetritskaro Local History Museum also offers various educational programs, including master classes on folk crafts and souvenir making at the museum's Art School, as well as the "Let's Know About History" program. Visitors can also enjoy a photographic exhibition including exhibits from the museum's collection and materials from the Bronze Age.
