Museum of Friendship of Peoples Khornabudzhi - A historical treasure trove in the heart of the Dedoplistskaro Municipality, located at the address: Khornabudzhi village, st. Dumbadze, 4. It was founded in 1984 and is a non-entrepreneurial (non-profit) legal entity of the Center for Culture and Monument Protection of this municipality. Occupies the former house of the Nizhny Novgorod (Russia) dragoon officer Grigol Nechvilodov, who arrived and settled in Dedoflitskaro in 1813. This historic house became a center of attraction for the Decembrists and Georgian intelligentsia, who received such distinguished guests as Al. Chavchavadze, Al. Pushkin, M. Lermontov and others, including the French writer Al. Diuma in 1858. In the museum you can find memorial items that belonged to Nechvilodov, as well as an ethnographic collection of the 19th-20th centuries, including household items and weapons. Open daily, except Sunday and Monday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Visiting the museum is absolutely free. Among the interesting exhibitions, “Georgians in the Nizhny Novgorod Dragoon Regiment” should be highlighted. In addition, the museum offers educational programs such as “Decembrists and Georgia” and “We know the history of our village.”
