The House-Museum of Sandro Shanshiashvili is located in the village of Yugaani, Sighnaghi Municipality, and was founded in 1986. This museum is a non-profit legal entity representing a service center for art and education of the Sighnaghi Municipality. It is classified as a memorial museum and currently houses over 500 items. The museum's exhibition includes memorial items related to the life and work of the Georgian poet Sandro Shanshiashvili (1888-1979), as well as an ethnographic collection from the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Among the exhibits on display are various editions of the poet's works, antique furniture, paintings, graphics, sculptures, and photographs dedicated to the poet. Open to visitors every day, except Mondays, from 10:00 to 18:00. It is important to note that entry is free. In addition, the museum hosts educational programs, including Museum Open Days. The permanent exhibition allows guests to immerse themselves in the history and work of Sandro Shanshiashvili, making a visit to the museum a fascinating and educational experience.
