Ivane Beritashvili House Museum

The house-museum of Ivane Beritashvili is located in the village of Vedini, Gurjaani Municipality. This museum, founded in 1988, belongs to the Gurjaani Library and Museum Union and has the status of a non-profit legal entity. Its main profile is memorial: it contains objects related to the life and work of the outstanding Georgian scientist-physiologist Ivane Beritashvili (1885-1974). The collection includes his personal belongings, ethnographic materials, publications about his scientific activities, photographs and other artifacts. Open to visitors every day from 10:00 to 18:00, except Mondays. Ticket prices are affordable and varied: for schoolchildren and students - 1 GEL, adults - 2 GEL, and the excursion will cost 3 GEL. However, certain categories of people are entitled to free entry: children under 6 years of age, employees of museums in Georgia and abroad, documented ICOM members, people with disabilities and refugees (with supporting documents). The museum features a permanent exhibition that immerses visitors in the world and legacy of the outstanding scientist.
