Irodion Evdoshvili House Museum

In the village of Bodbishevi, Sighnaghi Municipality, the House-Museum of Herodion Evdoshvili is located. It was founded in 1951 and functions as an arts and education center for the Sighnaghi Municipality. This memorial museum is dedicated to the life and work of the Georgian writer Herodion Evdoshvili, displaying his personal belongings, an ethnographic collection of the 19th and early 20th centuries, the texts of his works, as well as paintings, drawings, sculptures and photographs associated with his literary heritage. The museum is open daily, except Mondays, from 10:00 to 18:00. The entrance is free. A permanent memorial exhibition showcases the museum's collection, and educational programs are also held, including special events for children called "Herodion Evdoshvili".
