The house-museum of Alexander Gzirishvili is a unique place located in the village of Vakiri, Sighnaghi Municipality. It was founded in 1983 and is a non-profit organization providing an arts and education service center for the Sighnaghi Municipality. This memorial-oriented museum boasts a collection of 672 unique objects. Memorial artifacts related to the life and work of the outstanding Georgian scientist Alexander Gzirishvili (1902-1972), as well as a variety of ethnographic materials, publications about his scientific activities, as well as photographs and much more are stored here. Open to the public every day, except Mondays, from 10:00 to 18:00. And the best thing is that entry is absolutely free! We invite you on a fascinating journey into the world of history and culture, where each exhibit will tell you amazing stories about the past of Georgia.
